With celebrity clients like Nelly Furtado, Virginia Madsen and Yoko Ono, Girlawhirl thinks Taylor Chang–Babaian must be doing something right. And her new book Asian Faces: The Essential Beauty and Makeup Guide for Asian Women is a how-to masterpiece from this celebrated makeup artist.
With step-by-step instructions for application, how-to tips on finding the perfect shade to compliment skin tone, and even what tools work best to make the whole process a smooth one, Asian Face has everything a girl needs to look going without a whole lot of fuss.

Beyond the usual daily looks, Chang–Babaian also outlines great looks from each decade – from the roaring 20s, to the super sexy 70s and even the outrageous 80s. But Girlawhirl found the traditional geisha and modern kabuki costume makeup some of the most interesting entries. Girlawhirl's not sure if she'll ever have a need to go geisha, but it's nice to know that now she can.
