Girlawhirl finds that the easiest way to make a total transformation is to play with her makeup – more specifically her eye makeup. It's a no fail way to change her look – and it's fun to see how some colors make her eyes pop, how long different formulations last and what works best for her… Right now, Bobbi Brown's Metallics eye palettes are just what she wants - no needs - to create all kinds of eyes for fall. Here's what Girlawhirl loves about them: the shadow is a cross between a cream and a powder, so it goes on smooth and stays on all day. The colors are smoldering and shimmery but not at all glittery so she can wear them to the office and not feel like she should be in a party dress.
With three colors in each compact, she can create lots of different looks. Her favorite palette is the Midnight Metallics, which includes a pearly shade called Platinum, a medium grey named Rockstar and a gorgeous dark blue – Midnight – that when she's not using it as a liner, creates an unbelievable smoky eye.
Each palette is a standout, with highly pigmented shades that perfectly complement the colors of fall, from the deep Sage green in the Forest Metallics to the Raisin and Velvet Plum in the Velvet Plum compact.
Girlawhirl's rocking her Midnight palette, but since she knows these limited edition shadows won't be in the stores for much longer, she's pretty sure she'll be adding to her collection.
