As promised, I wanted to keep you posted on how the Brazilian Blowout is holding up. It's been just over a month – including a week at the beach in the sun and seawater – and my hair is still looking and feeling great. I was told it would last for about two months, so I'm glad it's holding up so well.

My hair isn't as spectacularly shiny as it was right after I had it done, but it is still smoother than usual. After I wash it, I can feel a lot of the curl is back, but it's still much more manageable than it was before I had the blowout. It still blow-dries straight without a problem and when I let it air dry it's got lots of body, but – and this is the best part – the frizz factor is still very low. Even during that week on the beach, in the humid south, where my hair would normally puff up to six times its normal size, it stayed practically frizz free.

I wish it would last forever – and I guess it can if I keep going back to have it done every few months. It's something I'm considering. Looks like I might just be hooked.
