Diana whipped up the original version of her signature Sugar Scrub while on a trip to Morocco, blending olive oil, cinnamon, cumin, rose water, lemon juice and sugar intuitively as if she'd done it a thousand times. When she got back to the states, she perfected her formulations and developed four scents.
What make her scrubs different from the many others that line the walls of Girlawhirl's shower is that – in addition to their spectacular fragrances - Diana B uses a combination of cane sugar syrup and maple sugar syrup instead of oil. The maple sugar syrup, which isn't usually found in cosmetics, has lots of minerals and great healing properties. Girlawhirl's favorite is the Green Tea Desert Grapefruit scrub with its powerful blend of antioxidants. A Super Pal loves the Black Fig for its Mediterranean inspired fragrance and its ingredients that restore elasticity and boost circulation to the skin.
There are four fragrances in all. In addition to the two above there's Maple Sugar Lychee Nut, which is the original concoction Diana created in Morocco, and a Peach Frangipani Flower that's super feminine. And of course, there's always the option to mix fragrances and formulations in the shower.
