Girlawhirl can't stop smiling when she wears PlantLove lippy from Cargo Jan 23, 2007

Girlawhirl cannot stop smiling. The purchase of any new lipstick usually puts a little smile on her face, but Cargo's new range of lipsticks, called PlantLove, have her grinning from ear to ear… Not only are the lipsticks themselves pretty, sheer and full of eco-friendly ingredients like jojoba, shea butter, vitamin E, the formulation of PlantLove™ lippy contains no mineral oil or petroleum. That means that the little bits left in the bottom of the tube won't linger in a landfill or anywhere else on planet Earth long after Girlawhirl throws it out.
But the packaging is even more amazing! Made from PLA (translation: Polylactic Acid), which is a polymer made from corn, the lipstick tube is completely biodegradable. And it all comes boxed in flower paper, embedded with wildflower seeds, which Girlawhirl can wet and plant.
PlantLove lipsticks will be in sold exclusively in Sephora stores during the month of February, but they'll be sold everywhere Cargo Cosmetics are sold in March. Just like the rest of the Cargo line, some of the shades in the PlantLove range are inspired by celebrities like Lindsay Lohan – who used a pink post-it® as the inspiration for her sheer Sweet California Pink shade – and Courtney Cox.
Girlawhirl found her Cargo Cosmetics PlantLove in her online shopping mall at sephora.com.
