Green & Blacks Ice Cream is just the treat for summer May 8, 2007

Already a fan of Green & Black's outrageously delicious chocolates with a conscience (translation: all created using Fair Trade production policies), Girlawhirl swoons over the Green & Black's ice cream she sees in London's markets. With dinners always booked and work to be done on her laptop afterwards, truth be told, she's only had one chance to purchase a pint, and that time, despite all her good intentions, she meandered her way through the whole container, enjoying every bite of it. And while she loved every rich and creamy mouthful, the part of her that keeps her going to the gym and makes sure that she eats her five fruits and vegetables a day was secure in the knowledge that such decadence wouldn't tempt her on a daily basis…
She hasn't decided which is her favorite flavor yet. The Chocolate (made with Green & Black's amazing bittersweet dark chocolate), Vanilla (blended with real vanilla beans she can see) and the freshly whipped taste of the White Chocolate with Strawberry are all basically neck-and-neck. It may take several more taste tests to determine which takes the title as number one. But the taste trials are one ‘to-do' on her list she can definitely live with.

But now that they've hit the states, Green & Blacks Vanilla, Chocolate and White Chocolate with Strawberry ice creams are very much a part of Girlawhirl's options – and obsessions. Made with organic ingredients and a process that uses less air than traditional ice cream, this is super creamy and spectacularly delicious ice cream.
