Already a Vosges Haut-Chocolat fanatic, Girlawhirl can't help but keep her finger on the pulse of the latest and greatest creations from Katrina Markoff and her team. Even when some of the combinations and concoctions sound off-beat, she and her Super Pals have come to trust Katrina like a chocolate-soul-sister, because even when she's mixing ingredients that aren't usually combined with chocolate, she never seems to push the envelope too far along the taste continuum…
Particularly fond of the Exotic Candy Bars, which Girlawhirl finds indispensable mid-transatlantic-flight or at midnight in a far-flung location, she couldn't be more thrilled with the new addition to the line-up. Mo's Bacon Bar contains crunchy smoked bacon and smoked salt, all surrounded by deep milk chocolate. Markoff says this latest creation was inspired by her childhood breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes paired with a side of bacon.
Girlawhirl definitely agrees. The sweet-salt-crunch takes her right back there as well.
