It seems that every weekend, Girlawhirl's faced with the inevitable question? Burger or dog? And while that can mean anything from glammed up stuffed super burgers to healthy tofu-dogs, Girlawhirl admits that she's eaten more than enough of her summertime barbeque staple – turkey burgers – over the past few weeks. But now she's found a way to juice up what can sometimes be a bland burger…
Using Penzeys Bratwurst Sausage Seasoning, plain old turkey burgers can be transformed into brat-burgers. Girlawhirl tasted these recently at a Super Pal's cookout where everyone from the kiddies to the grandparents were lining up for seconds.

Originally formulated to season pork or a mixture of pork and veal for a traditional bratwurst, it adapts easily to ground turkey. Just a tablespoon per pound of meat, maybe an egg to hold it all together and a little bit of parsley to add some freshness and these burgers will be the talk of the yard.
Girlawhirl found Bratwurst Sausage Seasoning online at Penzeys.com.
