Once she tasted it, Girlawhirl never went back to the thin, sugary yogurts she used to consider lunch – or dessert. These days she's all about Fage, the thick, strained yogurt imported from Greece that tastes so fresh and just begs to be included in all kinds of meals…
She's used it in dips, fully substituting all the mayo or sour cream in the recipe. And even when she was so bold as to use the 0% fat variety, no one at the party noticed. Her fabulous spinach dip was nibbled and scooped until there was nothing left. The 2% makes a decadent dessert when she stirs in a little bit of agave syrup, vanilla and cinnamon and then tops it all off with fresh berries or other fruit. And with a little cucumber and garlic stirred in, she can create a quick, impromptu tzatziki.
And while looking for some new recipes on recipe4living.com, Girlawhirl found that she's not the only one addicted to Fage yogurt. There's a whole page full of great ideas for sweet and savory dishes using it.
