Fruit stickles are a fun way to serve fruit Jul 24, 2007

Last summer, Girlawhirl and her Super Pals spiced up their grills with Seasoned Skewers. They marinate from within and the outdoor chefs couldn't get enough of the cool flavors – from Ginger Mango to Thai Coconut Lime – that gave even a weeknight dinner the taste of the exotic. Imagine their delight to discover this summer's flavor filled treat, Fruit Stickles… Like their savory counterpart, these curvy sticks impart flavor when fruit is put on them. There's Cinnamon, which obviously pairs wonderfully with apples and pears, but is equally delicious with pineapple, strawberries and peaches. And Girlawhirl loves the Tropical flavor, which she piles melon, kiwi and bananas on.
The flavors add no sugar or fat, but they make a dessert of fruit feel special and fun. Girlawhirl's seen kids go nuts, having fun creating their own fruit kabobs. For adults they make it easy to clean up after a fruit plate because everyone can use them instead of forks.
Girlawhirl found Fruit Stickles online at mysecretpantry.com.
