It's not just that she appreciates any kind of advice that advocates temperance and moderation when it comes to applying runway trends to the real world. She also wanted to know how many of Garcia's chosen one hundred indispensable items were already a part of her wardrobe… Nail Polish? Check. Animal Print? Of course. Missoni? Sì, Sì. Espadrilles? Oui. A little black dress? In multiples! She hasn't finalized her count yet, but Girlawhirl has become utterly mesmerized by Ruben Toledo's illustrations – so many more than Garcia's previous book.
