While Fashion Week is mainly about the designers and their clothes, there's so much more to the fashion-fueled spectacle. Parties, presentations, celebrity sightings, and Fashion Rocks are all part of the chicest week in New York City. In its fifth time around, Fashion Rocks did not disappoint with incredible style and A-list performances, all for a very good cause… Featuring performances by Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Duffy, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Black Eyed Peas, Kid Rock with special guest Lynyrd Skynyrd plus many more, Fashion Rocks 5 was definitely a crowd pleaser. But Girlawhirl's really into the high fashion frenzy. She can't wait to see how fashion and rock n' roll collided on stage once again.
She couldn't make it to the live event – no matter how much she wished she could have been there to see it all unfold firsthand – so she's got her TiVo set to record the two-hour special on CBS Tuesday, September 9 at 9 pm EDT.
And what really pleases Girlawhirl is that proceeds from the star studded event will benefit Stand Up for Cancer – a program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation dedicated to helping fight cancer and aiding people whose lives are affected by the disease.
