In theaters this Friday:
• The Incredible Hulk—PG-13—This latest adaptation of the comic book stars Edward Norton as Bruce Banner. Banner lives in the shadows, cut off from his life and the woman he loves (Liv Tyler), as he desperately hunts for a cure for the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashed the unbridled force of rage within him: The Hulk. He is on the run from the military, led by General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt), which wants to capture him and exploit his power. But when he is confronted with a new adversary known as The Abomination, whose destructive power exceeds even The Hulk's, he must decide whether to live in peace as Bruce Banner or become a hero as The Hulk.
• The Happening—R—The newest thriller from director M. Night Shyamalan is about a family on the run from an inexplicable and unstoppable event that threatens humankind. It comes with no warning – within minutes episodes of strange, chilling deaths that defy reason erupt in major American cities. No one knows what's causing it. Is it a terrorist attack, an experiment gone wrong, a toxic weapon, an out of control virus? Philadelphia high school science teacher Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberg), his wife Alma (Zooey Deschanel), their friend Julian (John Leguizamo) and his 8-year old daughter all hit the road, heading for the Pennsylvania farmlands where they hope they'll be able to escape the attacks. But it soon becomes clear that no one, and nowhere, is safe.

• The Bucket List—Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman star as two terminally ill men from very different worlds who share a hospital room and realize they both have a long list of things they want to do before they “kick the bucket.” So they embark on the road trip of a lifetime, becoming friends along the way and living life to the fullest.

• The Monster of Florence by Douglas J Preston and Mario Spezi — Author Douglas Preston fulfilled a life-long dream when he and his wife moved the family to Florence. They enrolled their children in Italian schools and took up residence in a 14th century farmhouse where Douglas worked on his best-selling suspense novels. But his blissful outlook on life in Florence changed drastically when he discovered that the olive grove in front of his house had been the scene of Italy's most infamous double-murder, committed by an unknown serial killer called “The Monster of Florence.” This novel tells the true story of the author's hunt for the killer. Douglas teamed up with crack Italian journalist Mario Spezi to identify a suspect. But everything changed when Italian prosecutors turned their eyes on the pair. Douglas is kicked out of the country accused of planting evidence, perjury and being an accessory to murder. Mario is thrown in jail, charged with being the Monster of Florence himself. The pair finds themselves caught in the middle of a bizarre story of murder, mutilation, devil worship, high fashion, carnival trials and prosecutorial vendetta.
