In theaters this Wednesday:

Hamlet 2—R—Steve Coogan plays Dana Marschz, a failed actor-turned-high-school drama teacher at Tucson, Arizona's West Mesa high. Dana sees himself as an inspirational teacher but his adaptations of popular films are not working, and his latest – recreating Erin Brokovich – is a flop and now his department has been targeted for closure. So Dana reaches deep within himself and comes up with a sequel to Shakespeare's Hamlet – a musical extravaganza that stretches both political correctness and dramatic credibility. Soon after rehearsals begin there are objections from school officials and the community. But Dana gets unexpected support from an ACLU attorney and his favorite actress, Elisabeth Shue, as he moves ahead believing that his opus must be staged.

Traitor—PG-13—When FBI agent Roy Clayton (Guy Pearce) heads up the investigation into an international conspiracy, all the clues seem to point to former U.S. Special Operations officer Samir Horn (Don Cheadle). A mysterious man with a web of connections to terrorist organizations, Horn has a knack for showing up on the scene just as a major operation goes down. An inter-agency task force looking into the case links Horn to a prison break in Yemen, a bombing in Nice and a raid in London, but as contradictory evidence emerges, Clayton is forced to question whether Horn is a disaffected former military operative or something much more complicated. Obsessed with finding the truth, Clayton tracks Horn across the globe.

In theaters this Friday:

Babylon A.D.—PG-13—Vin Diesel stars as a mercenary hired to deliver a package from the ravages of post-apocalyptic Eastern Europe to the teeming megalopolis of New York City. That “package” is a mysterious young woman with a secret.

Disaster Movie—PG-13—The latest from the filmmaking team behind “Scary Movie,” “Date Movie” and “Epic Movie.” This one follows the comic misadventures of a group of ridiculously attractive 20-somethings during one fateful night as they try to make their way to safety while every known natural disaster from asteroids to tornadoes and earthquakes hits their city. Oh and they're also trying to solve a series of mysteries to end the rampant destruction.

College—R—The story of three high school friends, played by Drake Bell, Kevin Covais, and Andrew Caldwell, who visit a local campus anticipating the best weekend of their lives. Once they get there, the rowdiest fraternity on campus decides to recruit them as “pledges,” subjecting them to endless humiliations in return for granting them access to the no-holds-barred college party scene. But the boys fight back after they meet three hot sorority girls and the frat threatens to expose their underage status.
