A chance encounter with moody writer Leo – who just happens to be a very intense, first love, kind of former flame – leaves newlywed Ellen Dempsey wondering what might have been. Secretly, Leo's never left her mind, leading her to wonder if her life with husband Andy is really what she always wanted, or just what she thought she always wanted.
• Scream for Me by Karen Rose — New York Times bestselling author Karen Rose makes her hardcover debut with this follow up to 2007's Die For Me. This novel picks up where Die for Me left off. Special Agent Daniel Vartanian has sworn to find the person responsible for a series of kills that mimic a brutal 13-year-old murder Simon's brother had photos of. Simon died in the last novel, and this copycat is far more depraved than Simon ever was. With only a few photos to go on, Daniel's search for the truth leads him to the darkest corners of his family's history. His investigation also leads him to Alex Fallon, a woman he finds himself falling in love with. But the murderer also has Alex in sight, and now Daniel must race to catch the killer before Alex gets hurt.
• Swine Not? A Novel Pig's Tale by Jimmy Buffett — Nine-year-old Barley's life is completely uprooted when his mother moves him, his two sisters and their pet pig Rumpy from their Tennessee home to the top floor of one of New York's finest hotels, where his mom now works as a pastry chef. But there's a strict “No Pets Allowed” policy in the hotel, and Barley will find out exactly how different life is in the big city, especially when you are trying to hide a pig. Not to mention the fact that the mean head chef is hot on his trail.
• The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein — Family dog Enzo has spent his whole life studying his humans.
