Now the robbers are in the middle of something much bigger than they bargained for.
  • 10,000 B.C.-PG-13-A young hunter in a remote mountain tribe falls in love with a beautiful girl. But then a band of mysterious warlords raid their village and kidnap the girl. So the hunter leads a small group to track down the warlords and save the girl. As they venture out into unknown lands, they encounter other civilizations they never knew existed and realize just how far mankind's reach extends.
  • College Road Trip-G-Raven-Symone plays Melanie, an overachieving high school student who is ready to go check out colleges on a "girls only" road trip. But then her overprotective police chief father insists on going with her instead and the trip turns into a hilarious father-daughter nightmare/adventure.

New DVD releases:

  • Before the Devil Knows You're Dead-Philip Seymour Hoffman and Ethan Hawke play brothers who both need some extra money. So they plan to rob a suburban mom and pop jewelry store that appears to be the quintessential easy target. The problem is it's their actual mom and pop's store and when the robbery goes wrong it triggers a series of events that shatters the whole family.
  • Into the Wild-Based on the best-selling book by Jon Krakauer and directed by Sean Penn, it's the story of a young man who walks away from his privileged life on the east coast and goes into the wild. His journey takes him from the wheat fields of South Dakota, to the Colorado River, and finally into the Alaskan backcountry.
  • Mister Magorium's Wonder Emporium-Dustin Hoffman plays Mr. Magorium, the 243 year-old proprietor of the most wonderful toy store in the world where everything comes to life. When he announces he's finally going to retire and hand over the reins to his less than confident young manager, Molly, played by Natalie Portman, the store throws a bit of a tantrum.
  • Things We Lost in the Fire-Halle Berry plays a woman whose life is shattered when her husband dies suddenly. After his death, she turns to one of his life-long friends, a New York lawyer on a serious downward spiral, played by Benicio Del Torro. Together, they work to repair their lives.

New Book releases:

  • Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult -Eleven years after a jury sentenced Shay Bourne to death for murdering young Elizabeth Nealon and her cop stepfather, he offers to donate his heart to Elizabeth's sister Claire, who's in desperate need of a transplant. This complicates the state's plans for his execution. And ever since Bourne's arrival on death row, there has been a series of strange occurrences. The faucets once ran with wine, an AIDS victim went into remission and an inmate's dead bird was brought back to life. On the other side of the prison walls, Claire's mother must decide if she can live with knowing that the man who killed one daughter is responsible for the salvation of another.
  • Dead Time by Stephen White -Psychologist Alan Gregory is on shaky ground, working to repair his rocky marriage and deal with his newly adopted son. Life gets even more complicated when Alan's ex-wife Merideth shows up at his door asking for help. The woman acting as Merideth's surrogate – Lisa, a college friend of her fiancé's – just vanished and Merideth is convinced Alan is the only one who can help find her. With the help of friend and detective Sam Purdy, Alan is pulled into a mystery leading back to a Grand Canyon camping trip years earlier involving Merideth's fiancé, Lisa and the mystery of a woman who vanished and the campers tried to help find. The hunt for the truth leads Alan and Sam from NY to LA and back to the canyon floor in the quest to unearth secrets someone worked very hard to keep buried.

  • Lush Life by Richard Price-the author of the Clockers and co-writer of The Wire returns with a new novel. After Ike Marcus is shot and killed while bar hopping with friends, NYPD Detective Matty Clark and his team focus on the manager of the restaurant and Eric Cash, a down on his luck writer who claims Marcus' group was attacked by would-be robbers, though eyewitnesses tell a different story. As Clark zeros in on Cash, Price takes a broad look at all of the characters: the alleged teenage shooters, Tristan Acevedo and Little Dap Williams who live in a near-by housing project, and Marcus's grieving father Billy, to paint a picture of American life in this dangerous neighborhood.

  • The Silver Swan by Benjamin Black -A followup to 2007's Christine Falls that spins a web of deception and murder in 1950s Ireland. Pathologist Garret Quirke is shocked to see Billy Hunt, a college acquaintance, at his office, and is even more surprised by his request that Quirke not perform an autopsy on his wife's body, which was just pulled naked from Dublin Bay. All signs point towards suicide, but Quirke feels something's not right and decides to trace Deirdre's steps. He begins to uncover a large web of lies and blackmail including shady businessman Leslie White – a man who knew Deirdre as Laura Swan, co-owner of his salon – and even Quirke's own estranged daughter.
