• The Diving Bell and the Butterfly—PG-13—The true story of Elle Paris editor Jean-Dominique Bauby who suffers a stroke at age 43 and becomes totally paralyzed except for the ability to move and blink his left eye. But amazingly, he goes on to write his memoir after the accident by blinking his eye to select letters on a chart.
New DVD releases:
• I Know Who Killed Me—Lindsay Lohan plays Aubrey Fleming a bright and promising young college student who is abducted and tortured by a serial killer. She manages to escape but when she regains consciousness in the hospital she insists she is someone else and that the real Aubrey is still in danger.
• Hot Rod—SNL star Andy Samberg plays Rod Kimble, amateur stuntman extraordinaire. Rod plans to jump 15 school buses to raise money for his abusive stepfather's heart surgery. That way he can save his life and then kick his butt.
• Waitress—Keri Russell stars as an unhappily married waitress in the deep south secretly saving money and hoping to win a pie contest so she can escape from her controlling husband. When she learns she's pregnant, she's angry at the thought of being trapped. When a newcomer arrives in town, she begins an unlikely affair.
