• The Darjeeling Limited—R—Three American brothers who have not spoken to each other in a year decide to set off on a train voyage across India to try to find themselves and bond with each other. But their “spiritual quest” gets derailed and they eventually end up stranded in the desert with eleven suitcases, a printer and a laminating machine. That's when a whole new journey begins. Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman and Adrien Brody play the brothers.

• Saw IV—R—Jigsaw and his apprentice are now dead. Two seasoned FBI agents arrive to help a local detective sort through Jigsaw's latest grizzly game. Then the SWAT commander, the only local officer who hasn't experienced Jigsaw's handiwork is abducted and given 90 minutes to overcome a series interconnected traps or face the deadly consequences. Meanwhile, long hidden clues lead the FBI agents and detective to Jigsaw's ex-wife and the genesis of the madman's evil is revealed.

• Before the Devil Knows You're Dead—R—Philip Seymour Hoffman and Ethan Hawke play brothers who both need some extra money. So they plan to rob a suburban mom and pop jewelry store that appears to be the quintessential easy target. The problem is it's their actual mom and pop's store and when the robbery goes wrong it triggers a series of events that shatters the whole family.

New DVD releases:

• Mr. Brooks—Kevin Costner stars as Earl Brooks, a successful businessman, loving husband and father. But he's hiding something – a cunning and murderous alter ego. When he succumbs to his urges and decides to kill again, an amateur photographer witnesses the crime and suddenly Mr. Brooks is entangled in a deadly game with him and a tenacious investigator played by Demi Moore.

• Meet the Robinsons—a new animated feature from Disney about a brilliant inventor named Lewis who teams up with a time traveling stranger named Wilbur Robinson so they can track down the movie's villain, Bowler Hat Guy. It's based on the book A Day with Wilbur Robinson by William Joyce.

In book stores:

• Book of Dead by Patricia Cornwall—America's bestselling crime writer is out with a new Dr. Kay Scarpetta novel. The Book of Dead is a log of bodies processed in the morgue. But it takes on a whole new meaning for Kay after she moves to Charleston, South Carolina to open a private pathology practice for people living in areas with no access to competent investigators and less than high-tech equipment at hand. When the mangled body of a local tennis phenom turns up in Rome, a woman's body is found ritualistically mutilated in her multimillion-dollar beach home and a young boy's body is found tossed in a marsh, Kay begins to wonder if they are all somehow connected.

• Basic Black: The Essential Guide for Getting Ahead at Work (and Life) by Cathie Black — president of Hearst Magazines and one of Fortune's “50 Most Powerful Women in American Business” for seven years running, Black shares her secrets to achieving success in both career and personal life. Black includes anecdotes and tips on how to make a name, nail an interview, live a “grudge-free” life and profiles of some of publishing's heavy hitters.

• Now and Then by Robert B. Parker—When Dennis Doherty walked into Spenser's office asking him to investigate whether his wife was cheating, it seemed like a simple case. Spenser learns Dennis' suspicions are true. But instead of a divorce, this case ends with three dead bodies. And instead of a simple lover, it turns out Dennis' wife was sleeping with Perry Alderson, a man with ties to terrorists. Now Spenser is in Alderson's but he must delve deeper to find the truth and save his own love, Susan, from harm.

• Out of Sync by Lance Bass —As a teen Lance Bass was thrust into the spotlight as a member of *NSync. The boy band set album sales records and drew insane crowds everywhere they went. Bass discusses his life in the middle of this mania, the frustration he experienced when the band broke up, and living in Russia for four months training to become a cosmonaut. He also talks about hiding his sexuality from his fans for fear of their reaction and finally coming out to the world at age 27.
