Girlawhirl's finally able to let her spring style shine. There's no longer a need to cover up a cute spring dress with a coat, or wrap herself in a cardigan to stay warm, she's free to use light layers as part of an outfit rather than a way to fight off a morning or evening chill. All vestiges of winter clothing, including her handbags have been stored away for the summer, leaving Girlawhirl with very little to tote her daily gear around in. Can she find something new without blowing her budget?...

It's inevitable, with summer slides, mules and sandals comes the telltale slapping sound that Girlawhirl's feet make when she walks. It comes from her heels as they lift off the bottom of the shoe – the result of all the openness that she so loves. But the sound is definitely something she hates…
