Already the chatter in Girlawhirl's office has turned to Kate Moss's debut collection for Topshop and how everyone intends to get their hands on and their bodies into key pieces like the knee-high suede boots or super skinny washed denim jeans…
A sneak peek has been shown in April's British Vogue, with, of course, Kate modeling the clothes. A mix of edgy silhouettes juxtaposed with a playful attitude, so far Girlawhirl loves what she's seen. Printed dresses and jersey basics, cool details, inspired by Kate's tattoos: birds and hearts show up as embroideries on the waistband or hems of jeans.

Scheduled to debut on May 1st, one of Girlawhirl's officemates has planned a weekend fling to London so she can see the full collection – all 80 pieces – in its full styled-out glory at the Topshop flagship store on Oxford Street. And Girlawhirl fully intends to stop by and check it out at Topshop the next time she's in London, because this isn't a one shot deal for Moss. It's intended to be an ongoing collaboration and a summer collection is scheduled to hit the stores in June.
Stateside, the collection will be available at Barneys stores starting on May 8th, and it will be offered on the Topshop website, which now – finally, yes! finally! – ships to the United States. New Yorkers can also get their hands on pieces at Opening Ceremony.
