It's not just the outfits - and Girlawhirl' s referring to those worn by the attendees, not the ones coming down the runway - or the snippets of conversation overheard, or even the hysteria exhibited when someone finds out they're not getting a seat at a particular show but are forced to wait in the standing-room-only line that keeps Girlawhirl and her Super Pals smiling during New York Fashion Week. Friday's promotional event, sponsored by Playtex definitely kept them chuckling...
It was all about breasts in the promenade area of the tents on Friday,
September 7th. Playtex took over, with wide screens showing women dancing around in their bras. Models walked around in black t-shirts emblazoned with pink bras and computer screens embedded into them and Lisa Rinna conducted interviews with members of the crowd and the press. It was all to draw attention to the new website: playtexfits.com, dedicated to - what else - breasts. The site is full of information about finding a great fitting bra. Readers can submit their own videos and quotes vote for the best. There are fun commercials and even an interactive fit specialist complete with foolproof instructions on how to find the right bra size.
