with gap's collection of designer white shirts, girlawhirl's not stressing over what to wear

It's just a fact of Girlawhirl's life: some days it's easier to get dressed than others. As much as she tries to plan, and keeps lists of favorite outfits for each season, truth be told, every now and then she wastes a half hour in the morning trying on item after item – and usually ends up running very late, wearing the first or second thing she had thrown on anyway. But nothing beats the simplicity of a great white shirt. And this year Gap's collaboration with the Council of Fashion Designers of America and Vogue Fashion Fund results in another round of great white shirts presented by Gap Design Editions...

With prices ranging form $35 to $88, Girlawhirl and Super Pals everywhere will have an opportunity to own pieces by designers Phillip Lim, Scott Sternberg, Michael Bastian, Philip Crangi and threeASFOUR's Gabi Asfour, Adi Gil and Angela Donhauser. Last year she purchased practically the whole collection so she's sure that she'll be buying multiples this year as well.

Some highlights include: menswear designer Michael Bastian's first-ever piece for women – and the first time men will have an opportunity to purchase a Gap Design Editions white shirt, and the 3-D-like designs that asFour are known for. With seams that curve and garments that don't necessarily lie flat – because they're shaped to the human form – they're truly collector's items.

Girlawhirl found a portion of the Design Editions collection online at gap.com. The full collection is available at select Gap stores.
