A couple of summers ago, Girlawhirl had the hardest time finding a basic black sandal. It seemed that everything was available in brown, but she couldn't find anything in black that suited her wardrobe, her taste and most of all her budget. Finally, well into the month of June, she found just what she wanted and snapped them up... They were basic black, with chunky strips of leather that crossed over her foot, all on top of a 1 ½” suede covered platform and 3” heel. Working perfectly with everything from jeans, to shorts to casual Friday office outfits, she's been wearing them ever since. Unbeknownst to Girlawhirl, she had purchased classic Kork-Ease sandals… the Original to be exact. Made famous in the 1970's when they briefly became the height of rock-chic fashion, they're still going strong today.
This summer Girlawhirl's adding to her Kork-Ease collection. There are several styles she's coveting, but she sprang for the super high – yet truly stable, and comfortable – Original High Wedges.
Girlawhirl found a great selection of Kork-Ease sandals in her online shopping mall at nordstrom.com.
