With the stores in full spring mode, Girlawhirl’s head is spinning. It feels like the runway shows in September and October were so long ago and while she certainly remembers standout looks like Temperley’s graphic black and cream patterns and the colorful polka dot sheath at Charles Nolan, she’s afraid that everything else from the shows is beginning to mush together in her overtaxed brain…
So, in order to keep it straight – from the right colors to the scale of the floral prints – she prints out her spring ’08 trend collage to take with her when she shops. It’s her cheat sheet that keeps her on track as she hits the stores and fills her closet with new clothes for spring and summer.
