Recently a British study determined that between the years of 16 and 60, women spend 287 days of their life deciding what to wear. Numbers specifically broke down as follows: 16 minutes every morning deciding what to wear to work and on the weekends 14 minutes, 20 minutes for a night out, 36 minutes for a special party or black tie event, and planning what to wear on vacation: 52 minutes…
Truthfully, Girlawhirl thinks that she and her Super Pals spend more time than that talking about what they wear. And if that's just time spent chatting about a new blouse or handbag, there's got to be a few extra minutes of brainpower behind it.
The study also found that on average women try on two outfits every morning before going to work and one in two women spend 15 minutes the night before figuring out what to wear to work.
Girlawhirl admits that's her strategy to streamline her morning routine and get out the door quickly. Planning what she intends to wear the night before, and making sure it's clean, pressed and ready to go is a giant step in preventing her from losing time.
