After the hype and hysteria of the holidays, Girlawhirl just wants to relax. She's finally found places to put all the gifts she received, and can't wait to catch up with friends who were away for the festivities… So this Sunday – in keeping with her resolution to be a better friend – she's having a little party. But there's a catch: everyone who comes to the party has to bring a gift. It's not as if they need to go out and buy one, they're supposed to bring the gift they most wish they hadn't received this holiday season. Whether it's the candle that doesn't quite smell right, a handbag that's far too bright or the hat-gloves-scarf set that clashes with their coat, it's all up for grabs in the swap.
Everyone will draw a number and that's the order in which they can pick from the pile of gifts. Trades are always allowed, so all her friends are sure to go home with something they like.
