the game head1liners is not just fun, it's green
Jul 5, 2007

Girlawhirl and her Super Pals are always on the lookout for fun games that they can play together or with their families. They love a mental challenge, but it still has to be fun, easy to play and lighthearted. After a long day, or long week, the last thing anyone's up for is something that requires hard thinking or strategizing…

The newest addition to their collection of group games is HEAD1LINERS™, a game that takes the phrase ‘a picture is worth 1000 words' to a new level. Players are all part of the News Staff, like at a local newspaper, and after taking a look at one of the almost 400 photos, everyone writes a headline. Staffers vote on the best headline for the picture, and winners advance. As players progress, it gets harder, with specific themes required for each headline.

It's not just the game that makes HEAD1LINERS special; it's also the fact that it is produced in an eco-friendly manner. Careful consideration of all the components and the game manufacturing process led to the use of soy based inks and water based coatings, game tokens made from sawdust, and different kinds of recycled paper and fiber board and more. Plus, the company that produces the game, Kvale Good Natured Games, goes even further by using wind generated power in its home office and donating 10% of profits to environmental, social and educational programs.
