Girlawhirl's got some new additions to her arsenal of eco-friendly and non-toxic cleaners: practically every cleaning product that bears the Holy Cow label. At first, Girlawhirl bought them because they stood out on the shelf – with the name, the cute cow drawing and the colorful pink, blue and green colors these cleaners just looked like fun…
And truth be told, they are fun! Stainless steel is shiny and totally streak free. Mirrors and windows too. And since they meet the USDA's food and safety standards, she had no problem using them to clean her microwave, which sorely needed some sparkling up. Her bathroom is shiny as well, and what Girlawhirl especially likes is that even though these cleaners do a great job, even on tough soap scum in her shower, she's not exposed to VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and chemicals as she cleans.

In fact, Holy Cow is best described by what it doesn't contain: no solvents, no VOCs, no toxins, no alcohol, no ammonia. And it's not an oxygen based bleach cleaner, or citrus based, so it really is safe for almost every surface in her house, including carpets and laundry. In addition the cleaners themselves biodegrade so they're good for Mother Earth as well.
Girlawhirl found her new favorite cleaning products in her local Wal-Mart store. They're also available at holycowproducts.com
