Girlawhirl relaxes her feet… with yoga toes

Girlawhirl looks forward to a yoga class or two each week. It makes her feel powerful and strong, and when she's finished, she feels relaxed and accomplished. Her yoga teacher says that by the time they go through all the different poses, every muscle in her body has been stretched and each joint worked. But Girlawhirl's not so sure about that…

A Super Pal recently gave her a set of Yoga Toes™, and after trying the little toe-stretching apparatus, Girlawhirl can say that the muscles and joints of her toes are not being regularly stretched by yoga, cardio, or any other exercise that she regularly participates in. These little rubbery devices fit in between her toes, sort of like, but much more sturdy than, the separators she uses when she gives herself a pedicure. With her toes stretched apart, all the muscles get a little bit of a workout, and the bones can realign a bit. That's a really good thing on the days when Girlawhirl squishes her feet into pointy shoes and boots.

With regular use, which is easy enough while she's watching TV—she just needs to slip them on, no need to walk around or actually perform any exercises—they can help prevent foot issues like bunions and hammertoes. She'll strengthen and condition the muscles of her feet and her circulation will improve as well.

All she knows it that a chilled pair of yoga toes at the end of a high heeled day is a great way to sooth her aching feet.
