Girlawhirl has many fitness goals, but the idea of completing a marathon is far too overwhelming. She's made it through some corporate sponsored K's – a 3K here, a 5K there – and she's about to take it to the next level by joining the world's largest 10K...

Whether she's in one of 25 selected cities, or anywhere her Nike+ system takes her, Girlawhirl can participate in the global run that brings one million people together: the Nike+ Human Race 10K.

 

On August 31, 2008, Girlawhirl can hit the highway to join runners in places like New York, Chicago, LA and Austin, or just plug in her Nike+ system and push her hometown run farther than ever before. Besides achieving (hopefully) the personal goal of finishing her very first 10K, Girlawhirl's just excited to take part in something this big.

 

So whether she's in a major city, at some overseas location like Paris, London, Buenos Aries or Madrid, or in her own backyard, Girlawhirl can't wait to be one in a million.
