The Centers for Disease Control provides guidelines to prevent the spread of germs from coughs, and Girlawhirl's made sure she knows what they are. It all begins with covering her mouth and nose when she sneezes and coughs, but what's important here is that she's not using her hands to do the covering. A tissue – which is then thrown out –is her best option, but if she can't get her hands on one, coughing or sneezing into her elbow or upper sleeve is still better than her hands.
And of course, a long hot soapy handwashing is her best defense against all kinds of germy situations.
