Girlawhirl knew all along that she should have been washing her greens for salads. Even though those pre-washed lettuce packages were reassuringly labeled ‘triple washed,' common sense, and a smattering of news reports, kept telling her that she should be washing it before eating. And recent events have confirmed that…
But in a tiny apartment, with a kitchen that can only be described as Lilliputian, where's a girl to store a salad spinner? Clean lettuce, arugula, and spinach may be the edict, but no one's going to enjoy a soggy salad. Girlawhirl's mother came to the rescue with the fun to use and easy to store Spin ‘n Stor®.

It's just like an oversized plastic bag and all Girlawhirl needs to do is throw her washed greens inside. Then she grabs the end, holding it closed in her hand, and—here's the fun part—spins it around a few times. Centrifugal force helps the water fly off the leaves, and it's all collected in a special reservoir at the bottom of the bag. Girlawhirl then drains out the water, and voilà, her salad is clean and dry.
If she wants, she can store leftover lettuce in the bag in the fridge, or even carry the salad to the office in the bag. Once the empty bag is dry she can just fold it for storage, because even in a Lilliputian kitchen, there's still room for a plastic bag.
