Girlawhirl, who has always had trouble taking care of plants, (she always forgets to ask someone to water them while she's away) has made it a point to start being a responsible plant owner. One day while in search of the perfect watering can, she found a more practical invention…
The Twist & Spout is a new design that allows any old water or soda bottle to be easily transformed into a watering can. Girlawhirl simply twists the plastic contraption – with a spout on one end and a handle on the other – onto the neck of her filled water bottle, and in seconds she has a sturdy spout to water her plants with.
Girlawhirl also discovered that the Twist & Spout comes in a kitchen version that makes for easy drink pouring at summer barbeques, and it's fun for kids, who would normally be shooed away from pouring soda from the big bottles, to use. She thinks it's even eliminated a spill or two.

The Twist & Spout, which comes in colors like light blue and lime green, gives a retro sort of feel to watering plants. Girlawhirl loves that after unscrewing it from her water bottle, she can just store the contraption in any old drawer, no large, special spot needed (unlike most watering cans).
Girlawhirl found her Twist & Spout in her online shopping mall at perpetualkid.com
