Antica Farmacista Co-owner Susanne Pruitt is a breast cancer survivor who found great support for her and her entire family through Gilda's Club - a support community for people living with cancer. Founded by Gene Wilder, Joanna Bull, Joel Siegel and Mandy Patinkin (along with several other friends) in honor of  Gilda Radner - the comedian who died of ovarian cancer in 1989 - the clubs focus on living with cancer and regaining control of one's life.

Now every time Girlawhirl walks into her apartment at the end of the day, instead of just thinking of 'me time,' she smiles at the thought that her sweet smelling apartment is helping a family battling cancer smile a little too.
