create your own shower curtain

The shower curtain conundrum…. Girlawhirl’s faced with it every time she moves or decides to switch up her bathroom décor. Frilly fabric is definitely not her style, and now that she’s aware of the health and environmental issues of a typical vinyl or PVC shower curtain, she’s always on the lookout for options that are gentle for both herself and Mother Nature. And with that in mind she’s thrilled to have found a shower curtain that’s part art project, part DIY eco-décor and a whole lot of fun…

Made from recyclable High-Density Polyethylene that’s breathable – so it has less of a chance of getting moldy and mildewy – this shower curtain won’t off-gas anything Girlawhirl doesn’t want to inhale as she showers. And it comes to her with a permanent marker that’s solvent-free and made from 74% recycled materials. So she can draw to her eco-heart’s content, creating a masterpiece for her bathroom.

And when she’s ready to move on, all she has to do is cut off the grommets and recycle the shower curtain with her #2 plastic bottles. The grommets can get recycled with her cans and bottles.
