While Girlawhirl has always liked the way a zebra rug looks in a room – mostly in the rooms she sees in the pages of interior design magazines – she can't think of any circumstances under which she'd bring a genuine zebra skin into her own apartment…
But, in the improved version of her current apartment, or perhaps her next place, she'd love to incorporate the kind of room in which such a rug could exist. She's picturing dark wood floors, sleek cream and taupe upholstered furniture, black leather – or lacquer – and maybe a chrome and glass table or desk. This would be just the room for a zebra rug.
And if Girlawhirl ever does get to furnish that room, she can rest easy – curled up on top of Jonathan Adler's cruelty free version of a zebra rug. It's hand loomed from llama wool, so it's soft and dense, not stiff and hairy.
And because it's not the real thing, there's even a cool brown option.
