Shop Jonathan Adler to support Peruvian Earthquake relief Aug 24, 2007

Jonathan Adler is one of Girlawhirl's favorite spots to find special touches to spruce up her apartment. His simply chic accent pieces, pillows and soothing scented candles always freshen up a room in the best possible way, and the handcrafted quality of the designs always makes a statement. Many of the made by hand pieces in his collections come directly from artisans in Peru, a country that just last week was devastated by a magnitude 8.0 earthquake. To support the people of the country that supports his business, Adler is giving back, and Girlawhirl can't wait to pitch in… This time around it's all about shopping for a good cause. Through the end of the month, 10 percent of the proceeds from any Jonathan Adler purchase Girlawhirl makes will be donated directly to earthquake relief in Peru.
The factories Jonathan Adler relies on for its handcrafted designs were hit badly during the August 15th earthquake. Fortunately there were no casualties there, but other parts of Peru were not so lucky. And the help Adler shoppers send will help the people so badly hit by this enormous earthquake to begin to rebuild. Now that's something Girlawhirl can feel good about too!
