Girlawhirl loves to use color to update her apartment, but in her tiny space she's careful of what she chooses. Mixing eras, genres and motifs, which she knows will look great when she finally gets into a bigger space, can end up looking a little crazy in her current city sized apartment... But she loves the way her new Icon Pendant Lamp looks hanging down over her table. Even though the table is an antique, (translation: hand-me-down from her Grandmother) and the lamp is clean and modern, because it has clean lines, it looks great above a more serious piece of furniture.
It was hard to choose between the colors offered. Girlawhirl found herself going back and forth between the warm shades of orange and red that glow a bit when the light's turned on, creating a pretty – and flattering – light to eat under. In another place the blue or white might have worked, but finally she chose the red, which makes quite a statement in her apartment.
