He's compiled a cute little book, sized like a passport, but, of course, thicker, full of 399 tips from seasoned travelers, culled from the magazine's “20 Tips” section where readers submit their own travel ideas, solutions and suggestions to solve, circumnavigate or prevent problems associated with trip planning and travel.
Girlawhirl had never thought of traveling with a USB jump drive to hold pertinent medical and financial information. But after a relative ended up in a Parisian hospital and a friend had her bag snagged in Rome, having all of that information on hand now sounds like a great idea.
But where the book really opened Girlawhirl's eyes was with its abundance of money saving tips.
