Over 10,000 personal items owned by Elton John and David Furnish, from vintage T's to this season's designer digs are up for public sale all week long, with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation, one of the world's leading AIDS non-profit organizations. Who knows which of Girlawhirl's Super Pals, male or female, could end up with a little bit of an Elton infusion?

Elton's Closet will run through April 15 at the Concourse Level of Rockefeller Center's flagship building, 30 Rockefeller Plaza. It's co-sponsored by Top of the Rock™, the recently reopened Rockefeller Center observation deck, so when she's done rifling through items actually worn by Sir Elton, Girlawhirl just might have to hop a ride up to the Top of the Rock to take a long look around. 

And when she comes down from the 70^th floor, Girlawhirl's making a mental note to stroll by Saks Fifth Avenue—the event's other co-sponsor—to check out the window displays. They're all decked out with some of Elton John's more memorable ensembles throughout the years—including the infamous Richard James polka-dot suit he wore during his controversial Grammy performance with Eminem.

All-in-all Girlawhirl has set herself up for one very Rock n' Roll weekend! Goodbye Yellow Brick Road—hello Elton's Closet!
