Recently she came across some very cool looking leather SAK bags that immediately drew her in. Specifically, the metal peace sign and dove silhouettes spoke to her. And while extraneous embellishments and hardware tend to turn her off, for some reason she just felt she had to bring this baby home, even though the price tag was higher than she's used to seeing from the line.

When she brought her bag to the counter for purchase she found out just how amazing these new bags really are. The saleswoman explained THE SAK donates 100% of Girlawhirl's Peace Bag Collection purchase to Seeds of Peace, a non-profit organization that brings Arab and Israeli teens together at a camp in Maine to learn “peaceful, constructive methods of conflict resolution.” The goal of the program is to teach the next generation to understand the other culture, discuss their differences and, most importantly, build lasting friendships that will hopefully carry over to a peaceful future at home.

Not only does she have the chance to help promote peace in the Middle East in her own little way, she also gets one fabulous bag… well, maybe two fabulous bags.
