It's happened to almost everyone Girlawhirl knows, including herself. Every now and then something goes wrong at work that results in a firing. Whether it's a catastrophic mistake, a re-organization or just a really bad fit, it happens - and recently it happened to a Super Pal...

Honestly, there was no drama surrounding this Super Pal's dismissal. In fact she smiled all the way home, because she had already been planning her own exit strategy.  But she still had to give the whole situation a little bit of 'spin' as she resumed her search for a really great job.

Girlawhirl found some additional information at CareerBuilder.com to help her Super Pal finesse questions at upcoming interviews. Kate Lorenz's article Tips for Explaining a Job Loss, spelled out exactly how she should handle the situation in upcoming interviews.
